Nominations for Board of Directors & Committees

Latinas Unidas is accepting nominations for our Board of Directors class 2011-2012 and supporting committees: Membership, Marketing, Website, and Newsletter.

We are an organization dedicated to uniting Latina women from different segments of the Greater Rochester Community who share common concerns and interests affecting women.

Candidates should support our mission and have a demonstrated track of working on behalf of women, especially Latina women and girls.

The Board of Directors is a working board, and meets at least once a month for reviews of current projects, decision making, policy decisions, etc.

Committee members meet depend on the specific projects they are working and the time of the year.

Latinas Unidas is specially seeking for individuals with skills/expertise in the following areas: marketing/ media, computer literacy, secretarial officer, membership programs, website development/ maintenance, and writing.
