Reconocimiento Awards 2012

On November 2nd, 2012 we awarded the Reconocimiento Award to these four “Obra de Arte” Latinas:

• Career Achievement: Antonia Custodio
• Leadership Achievement: Flor Colón
• Volunteer Achievement: Yesenia Ramos-Torres
• Young Latina Leader: Laura Aguilera

During this event we unveiled an original, limited edition Obra de Arte - Latinas Unidas’ first annual art piece created by Artist, Peggy Martinez:

We toasted a bitter sweet farewell to Latinas Unidas' very own Daisy Rivera-Algarin, as she passed on her "brush and palette" to the new Board Chair.
