Hispanic Scholarship Endowment Fund

This is a scholarship sponsored by the Ibero-American Action League, Inc. for college bound Hispanic students in the Greater Rochester area, as part of their mission to strongly supports and encourages excellence in education.

YMCA Of Greater Rochester Enhancement Of Diversity Scholarship

The purpose of this program is to provide financial assistance and quality work experience to college students who can contribute to the diversity of the YMCA and who are potential candidates for professional employment with this organization.

It is open not only to Hispanics, but to members of other diversity groups as well.

This scholarship application deadline is March 31, 2008.

Women's Week Scholarship
(The Community Foundation - Rochester Area )

The Women's Week Scholarship is intended to assist women residents of Monroe and Genesee counties returning to school after being out of school for a period of time, either to raise a family or because of work. Multiple scholarships up to $2,500 will be awarded.

Eligibility:

Women residents of Monroe and Genesee counties who:

  • Are returning to school after being out of school for a period of time (either to raise a family or because of work).
  • Are attending school full or part-time.
  • Have financial need.

* Preference is given to women who have been active in the community, especially in activities of special relevance to women.
