Hilda Rosario Escher is Executive Director of Ibero American Action League. Melisza Campos is Vice President of Operations and Instruction for the Dale Carnegie Rochester office and a commissioner on the Rochester City School Board.

To Peggy Martinez, for her online exhibit at the Still Point Art Gallery and for receiving the honor of "Artist of Distinction", she participated with her work Summer Blossom. Peggy Martinez is an award winning artist and Latinas Unidas Membership Chair.
To Grace Tillinghast, re-elected Vice-Chair of the Arts and Cultural Council for Greater Rochester. Grace Tillinghast is the Chair of the Rochester Hispanic Business Association and co-owner of The Battery.
Mayo 2011
To Dr. Luz Cruz, who recently received the 2011 Volunteer Woman on the Move Award from the National Multiple Sclerosis(MS) Society-Upstate New York Chapter. Dr. Cruz is an Associate Professor Emeritus in the Department of Kinesiology, Sport Studies and Physical Education at the College at Brockport. Not long after being diagnosed with MS in 1983, Dr. Cruz received her doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Teachers College, Columbia University.

To Annette Jiménez, reporter for El Mensajero Católico, First Place winner for News Story (Division 2, 5,001-9,000 circulation) Award by the New York Press Association (NYPA). Annette received this recognition for the compeling story "Programas ayudan a los latinos a vencer las adicciones de substancias" ("Programs help Latinos overcome substance abuse") published last November.
